We are happy to announce that FAU published an open access paper titled “Adaptation of an additively manufactured reactor concept for catalytic methanation with in-situ tar co-reforming of biogenic syngas” in Chemical Engineering Journal Advances.

The paper goes into detail about the methanation reactor designed within the CarbonNeutralLNG project. The innovative design makes use of the 3D-printing process to optimize a reactor for the in-situ co-reforming of tars by using novel reaction channel shapes to create ideal conditions for the reforming of tars.
